Television actress Mahhi Vij, who has been in the spotlight since entering the Bigg Boss 20 house, is now drawing attention over a development involving her social media presence.
Mahhi’s Instagram account has reportedly been disabled amid her ongoing stint on the reality show. Attempts to search for the account or access it through IDs and links shared on her earlier fan pages reportedly lead to a blank page.
Mahhi entered Bigg Boss 20 after turning down offers to participate in the reality show for several years, describing her decision to join the season as a deeply personal one.
Since entering the house, she has frequently featured in conversations surrounding the show. Early in the season, Mahhi faced criticism over what some viewers perceived as a bossy approach, including an argument with Aman Gandhi over luggage and her interactions with fellow contestants while asking them to prepare tea.

Her personal life has also remained a subject of public discussion. Her equation with longtime friend Nadeem Nadz had previously attracted speculation following her separation from actor Jay Bhanushali.
Mahhi had rejected the rumours, explaining that Nadeem has been a close friend and a godfather figure in her life for years. She also clarified that her daughter Tara addressing him as “Abba” was a decision she and Jay had made together.
Meanwhile, Jay Bhanushali has been spending more time with their daughter Tara while Mahhi is away in the Bigg Boss house.
During a recent social media interaction with fans, Jay was asked how he was managing Tara in Mahhi’s absence. He said he did not view his role as something he needed to “manage”, adding that he was enjoying the time with his daughter.
“Well, I don’t manage. I am really enjoying this time with her. I think the father-daughter bonding is more stronger now. And yeah, two reasons, I want Mahhi to be inside the house. One is, like, you know, I really want her to win the show, and the second thing is I get more time with my daughter,” Jay said.
Mahhi and Jay announced their separation in January 2026 after 14 years of marriage. The couple tied the knot in 2011 and have a daughter, Tara. They had also taken responsibility as foster parents to Khushi and Rajveer.
The reason for the reported disabling of Mahhi’s Instagram account has not been established.
