Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has praised Tamil cinema icon Rajinikanth’s latest release, Jailer 2, calling it a spectacular showcase of the veteran actor’s star power, swag and screen presence. The film has reportedly crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
Taking to X, Allu Arjun lauded the film’s commercial appeal, music and performances, while congratulating director Nelson Dilipkumar, composer Anirudh Ravichander and the entire team.

Allu Arjun is among the latest celebrities to congratulate the makers following the film’s reported box-office success.
Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh had also shared his enthusiasm on X while watching the film. During the interval, he described it as a “Maha Blockbuster” and praised Rajinikanth’s screen presence.
“Watching Jailor 2 – its interval now – Maha Blockbuster ….. Rajni Sir’s aura is on another level- Dir Nelson & the team – take a bow !!!!! Do yourselves a favour -watch the film- coz It’s HUKUM -TIGER KA HUKUM,” he posted.
After the screening, Riteish shared another post, calling the film a blockbuster and describing the theatrical experience as a celebration filled with applause, whistles and cheers for Rajinikanth’s every entry.
Actor and politician Kamal Haasan also congratulated his longtime friend Rajinikanth and the film’s team on its reported worldwide success.
In a post in Tamil, Kamal Haasan extended his heartfelt wishes to Rajinikanth, director Nelson Dilipkumar, music composer Anirudh Ravichander and the Sun Pictures team.
National Award-winning actor Dhanush, who watched the film’s first-day, first-show screening, was among the earliest celebrities to praise it.
“JAILER 2 is a MUST MUST MUST watch. BLOCKBUSTER 🔥🔥🔥 A FEAST for every Thalaivar fan,” he wrote on X.
Director Lingusamy also praised the film, saying it made particularly effective use of Rajinikanth’s screen presence. Reflecting on the superstar’s 51-year career, he compared Jailer 2 with Baadsha in terms of how effectively it showcased the actor’s aura, especially in the first half.
Director Venkat Prabhu, meanwhile, described the film as a thrilling Rajinikanth experience and thanked Nelson, Anirudh and the team.
Several other film personalities, including actors Vishnu Vishal and Soori, director Karthik Subbaraj and producer Nagavamsi, attended the first-day, first-show screening.
