Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has shared a special message in Hindi during his visit to Rajasthan for the Jodhpur RIFF Music Festival, describing it as an honour to return to India.

Jagger, one of the most recognisable figures in rock music, is the lead singer and a founding member of the Rolling Stones. His association with the band spans more than six decades, during which he has built a reputation for his distinctive voice and energetic stage performances.
He has co-written most of the band’s songs with guitarist Keith Richards. Their songwriting partnership is regarded as one of the most successful in rock music history.
Jagger was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 as a member of the Rolling Stones and into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004. His career has also included a successful solo run, with chart-topping singles in both the UK and the US.
His Rajasthan visit has brought fresh attention to the Jodhpur RIFF, a festival celebrating music and cultural traditions.
