New Delhi, November 6, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Friday announced that the last train services on November 8, Diwali, will depart from terminal stations of all Metro lines at 10 pm instead of the usual 11 pm.
According to a DMRC statement, the revised schedule will apply to all Metro lines, including the Airport Express Line, in view of the Diwali celebrations.
The corporation has also decided to start services an hour earlier on three lines. Since Diwali falls on a Sunday, services on the Pink, Magenta and Grey lines, which normally begin at 7 am on Sundays, will start at 6 am from their respective terminal stations.
The revised early-morning schedule will apply to the Pink Line (Majlis Park–Majlis Park/Shiv Vihar), Magenta Line (Botanical Garden–Krishna Park Extension and Majlis Park–Deepali Chowk) and Grey Line (Dwarka Kakrola–Dhansa Bus Stand).
DMRC has advised passengers to plan their journeys accordingly and check its official website and social media handles for further updates.
On October 30, the corporation had extended Metro services until midnight to facilitate the movement of spectators attending Diljit Dosanjh’s “Aura India Tour 2026” concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
