New Delhi, October 29, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

US-based AI chipmaker Nvidia has invested in Bengaluru-based startup Simplismart as part of a $14 million Series B funding round, backing its technology designed to help businesses run artificial intelligence models more efficiently and reduce computing costs, according to a TechCrunch report.

The funding round was led by Dallas Venture Capital, with participation from existing investors Accel and Shastra VC, as well as Micromax. The investment values the four-year-old startup at approximately $100 million, including the fresh capital, the report said.

Founded in 2022 by former Oracle engineer Amritanshu Jain and former Google engineer Devansh Ghatak, Simplismart develops software that helps enterprises deploy and operate AI models while optimising performance, response times and infrastructure expenses.

Focus on AI Performance and Cost Efficiency

Simplismart’s platform operates between AI models and the underlying computing infrastructure, automatically adjusting deployment settings to meet customer requirements. The technology is designed to help businesses balance response speed, processing capacity and computing costs without making substantial additional hardware investments.

The investment comes as companies worldwide expand their use of graphics processing units (GPUs) to power AI applications while seeking ways to improve utilisation and control operating expenses.

Simplismart offers tools for deploying and managing AI models across its platform and customers’ existing cloud and on-premises environments. Its services also include model fine-tuning, automatic scaling of computing resources and performance monitoring.

Founder Amritanshu Jain has said businesses are not necessarily seeking the fastest or cheapest AI inference systems, but solutions that provide the right balance of speed, performance and cost for their specific requirements.

Customers Include InVideo, HeyGen and Ema

The startup says its technology has delivered measurable savings for customers. According to Simplismart, its software helped AI video-generation platform InVideo reduce GPU serving costs by 56 per cent.

Its customers also include AI video companies HeyGen and Higgsfield, along with enterprise AI startup Ema. Indian cloud provider Yotta uses Simplismart’s technology to power the serverless AI inference service on its Shakti Studio platform.

Revenue Growth Accelerates

Simplismart said its annualised revenue run rate has increased 14-fold over the past six months, driven by growing customer usage.

More than half of the company’s revenue currently comes from the United States, even though it has a larger customer base in India.

Nvidia’s investment reflects growing interest in software that helps enterprises extract greater value from existing AI computing infrastructure as demand for AI applications continues to expand.
