Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was left startled after an excited fan suddenly rushed towards him outside a theatre where he had arrived to support Veer Pahariya and the team of Prem Keetanu ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
Salman was spotted outside the venue, where he met and greeted actor Anup Soni before heading inside for a special screening.
As the actor made his way towards the theatre, a young man suddenly moved past the security perimeter and approached him, managing to hold Salman’s hand. The fan appeared eager to meet the actor and possibly take a selfie.
Salman seemed taken aback by the unexpected approach and looked towards the man as his security personnel immediately intervened. The bouncers held the fan by the arm and pulled him away, allowing Salman to continue towards the theatre with Anup Soni.
For the screening, Salman opted for a casual look, wearing a light blue shirt with rolled-up sleeves and white trousers. He completed the outfit with dark sunglasses, a watch and his trademark bracelet.
His appearance at the screening was a gesture of support for Veer Pahariya, his longtime friend and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, and the Prem Keetanu team.
Inside the theatre, Salman was seen interacting with members of the film’s team, including Veer Pahariya and Aafiya Sayed.
This was not the first time an over-excited fan has crossed the security perimeter around Salman. In 2019, during a special screening marking the 25th anniversary of Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, a female fan reportedly managed to get past security and grabbed Salman’s arm while attempting to take a selfie.
More recently, in April 2026, a man approached Salman at an airport and put his arm around the actor while he was interacting with another young fan. Security personnel moved the man away, following which Salman reportedly gestured to them to calm down and continued interacting with the young fan.
