Gujarat BJP in-charge Tarun Chugh on Saturday concluded a five-day organisational tour covering six districts, emphasising stronger coordination, sustained public outreach and effective delivery of government welfare schemes.
Chugh, accompanied by Gujarat BJP Organisation General Secretary Ratnakar, visited Gandhinagar, Kheda, Panchmahal, Dahod, Chhota Udepur and Vadodara from September 8 to 12.
During the tour, the BJP leaders held meetings with party functionaries and other stakeholders to review organisational functioning and discuss measures to strengthen activities at the grassroots level.
In Vadodara, Chugh and Ratnakar held separate meetings with organisational office-bearers, elected representatives, cooperative leaders and the district coordination committee at the district BJP office.
The discussions covered organisational planning and ongoing programmes, including activities under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. Particular emphasis was placed on improving coordination between the party organisation and public service initiatives.
During the meeting with elected representatives and cooperative leaders, the BJP leaders called for continuous engagement with people at the local level and urged party workers to facilitate the prompt resolution of public grievances through service-oriented activities.
They also stressed the need to ensure saturation coverage of government schemes so that every eligible beneficiary receives the intended benefits.
The district coordination committee meeting focused on strengthening coordination between organisational programmes and public welfare initiatives and ensuring their effective implementation.
The Vadodara meetings were attended by Gujarat BJP General Secretary Hitendrasinh Chauhan, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha national president and MP Hemang Joshi, state Vice-President Rasik Prajapati, Vadodara district BJP president B.J. Brahmbhatt, district in-charge Dr Ritvij Patel, MLAs, party office-bearers, cooperative leaders, senior party members and workers.
Party sources said the organisational tour was aimed at reviewing the functioning of the BJP across the six districts and metropolitan areas while providing guidance on strengthening the organisation and improving its coordination with public service initiatives.
