Raghav Marks 22 Years of ‘Let’s Work It Out’, Remembers Collaboration with Late Asha Bhosle

Mumbai, August 5, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

Singer-songwriter Raghav has celebrated the 22nd anniversary of his hit single Let’s Work It Out, paying tribute to the late legendary singer Asha Bhosle, whose vocals featured on the 2004 track.

Sharing a clip from the song on X, the singer reflected on the milestone and expressed gratitude to everyone associated with the project, while fondly remembering his collaboration with Asha Bhosle.

“I would be remiss if we didn’t celebrate 22 years of ‘Let’s Work It Out’… created with my partner in crime Mushtaq and blessed by the voice of Asha Bhosle,” Raghav wrote.

Recalling the song’s success, he noted that Let’s Work It Out became his fourth single to enter the UK national charts within a single calendar year in 2004.

Raghav also revealed that he has a memorable story about his first meeting with Asha Bhosle, which he plans to share in his forthcoming book.

“Btw I have quite the story about when I first met Asha Ji. I’ll save it for the book… Thank you all for 22 years of love and support on this song,” he wrote.

The singer also admitted that he was initially disappointed when the track was chosen as the second single from his debut album Storyteller instead of Bad Bad Bad.

“Though I must admit I did have a breakdown when I found out it was being released as the second single off of Storyteller over Bad Bad Bad. One day I will recover from this,” he added, while thanking everyone involved in the making of the song.

Released in 2004, Let’s Work It Out is an R&B/pop single by Canadian singer Raghav featuring Jahaziel and appeared on his debut album Storyteller. He later released Identity (2009) and The Phoenix (2012), along with several popular singles including So Much, Fire, Top of the World, Woohoo and Until the Sun Comes Up.

Asha Bhosle, one of India’s most celebrated playback singers, passed away in April 2026 at the age of 92 due to multiple organ failure. During a career spanning more than eight decades, she received numerous honours, including the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and the Padma Vibhushan.
