BJP Working President Ashwani Sharma’s Elder Brother, RP Sharma Passes Away

Ram Prasad Sharma, the elder brother of Ashwani Sharma, Working State President of the BJP Punjab, passed away.

63-year-old R.P. Sharma, who had been unwell for some time, was undergoing treatment at PGI Chandigarh for the last 15 days and had been in the ICU for the past three days.

R.P. Sharma, who retired as AGM from Power Grid, played a significant role in Ashwani Sharma’s life. Like a father figure, he always stood firmly by his younger brother Ashwani.

Both R.P. Sharma and Ashwani Sharma lived together in a joint family under one roof.

The last rites will be performed on August 29 at 11:00 a.m. at the cremation ground near the Civil Hospital, Pathankot.
