Actor Varun Dhawan has shared a glimpse of his reunion with actor Sidharth Malhotra and his wife Kiara Advani, dismissing any speculation about a rivalry between the two actors and expressing gratitude to Kiara for her hospitality.
Taking to social media, Varun posted a picture featuring himself, Sidharth and Kiara. While the two actors posed together, Kiara was seen striking a funny pose in the background. Sidharth appeared to be playfully trying to conceal his pregnant wife’s baby bump.
Alongside the photograph, Varun shared a light-hearted message highlighting his equation with Sidharth.
“Heated yes but never a rivalry with my brother. Thank u for the hospitality bhabhi ji,” he wrote, referring to Kiara as ‘bhabhi’.
Varun and Sidharth made their Bollywood debuts together with Karan Johar’s 2012 romantic drama Student of the Year, which also introduced Alia Bhatt to the film industry. All three actors subsequently established successful careers in Bollywood.
Although Varun and Sidharth have not shared screen space since the film, they have spoken about their friendship and equation on several occasions. In 2023, the two appeared together on Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan, where they discussed their bond and how they had remained connected over the years.
Varun also shares a warm professional relationship with Kiara. The two actors worked together in the 2022 family entertainer JugJugg Jeeyo.
On the personal front, Sidharth and Kiara welcomed their first child, a daughter named Saraayah, in July 2025. The couple announced their second pregnancy on October 7, 2026, through a joint social media post featuring their daughter holding tiny baby socks.
“Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude,” the couple wrote.
Meanwhile, Varun and his wife Natasha Dalal welcomed their daughter Lara in June 2024.
