Hollywood actress Zoe Saldana offered fans a glimpse into the lighter moments of her busy work schedule, sharing a series of clips on social media featuring what she described as her “bunch of girls having fun.”
The actress took to Instagram to share snippets of her time on set, showing herself and members of her crew dancing and playing between shoots. The montage also featured workout sessions, a lavish post-shoot meal and moments of Saldana getting her hair styled.
“Just a bunch of gurls having fun,” she captioned the post.
Saldana is among the highest-grossing lead actors in film history and has received several major honours, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, two Critics Choice Awards, a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Cannes Film Festival Award.
She began her acting career with a guest appearance on the television series Law & Order in 1999. Her first film role came in Center Stage, in which she portrayed a ballet dancer.
Saldana gained early recognition for Crossroads, opposite Britney Spears, and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. She later rose to international prominence through the Star Trek reboot series and James Cameron’s Avatar franchise.
She also became widely known for playing Gamora in five Marvel Cinematic Universe films, beginning with Guardians of the Galaxy.
Beyond major franchises, Saldana has appeared in films including Death at a Funeral, Colombiana, Out of the Furnace, Missing Link and The Adam Project.
On television, she starred in the romantic drama miniseries From Scratch and the spy series Lioness, whose second season premiered in 2024. The series follows a CIA team that recruits female operatives, known as Lionesses, for undercover missions in the war on terror.
