Sunita Ahuja shared a heartwarming family moment with her nephew Krushna Abhishek and his family when she visited their residence for Ganpati darshan on Friday.
The visit saw Krushna and Kashmera Shah’s twin sons, Rayaan and Krishaang, warmly welcome their grandmother. The boys touched Sunita’s feet to seek her blessings, after which she showered them with affection.
Sunita also greeted Kashmera and Krushna warmly, making the festive gathering an emotional family reunion.
For the occasion, Sunita looked elegant in a yellow printed saree with a red border, teamed with traditional jewellery and flowers in her hair. Kashmera opted for a blue embellished lehenga with a matching choli, while Krushna wore a pearl-white kurta. The family also posed together during the Ganpati celebrations.
The warm reunion comes months after Sunita appeared on the reality show Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment Season 3, where she met Krushna and Kashmera’s twin sons for the first time following years of estrangement.
Sunita had made a surprise appearance on the show and later spoke about the emotional reunion, saying she had decided to let go of the past and forgive Krushna and Kashmera.
She described meeting her grandchildren as an especially emotional experience, with the family rift having lasted for around 14 years.
Sunita is Krushna Abhishek’s maternal aunt (Mami) and the wife of his uncle, Bollywood superstar Govinda.
The latest Ganpati gathering offered another glimpse of the family’s reunion, with Sunita sharing affectionate moments with Krushna, Kashmera and their children.
