The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed presidents for three District Congress Committees in Telangana under the ongoing Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan, with the appointments taking immediate effect following approval by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.
According to a press release issued by AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal, the newly appointed District Congress Committee presidents are:
- MD Mustafa — Ramagundam Corporation District Congress Committee
- Chigirintha Parijatha — Ranga Reddy District Congress Committee
- Patolla Chandrasekhar Reddy — Sanga Reddy District Congress Committee
The appointments are part of the Congress’ ongoing organisational restructuring under the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan, aimed at strengthening the party’s district-level organisation.
Ranga Reddy and Sanga Reddy are among the larger districts surrounding Hyderabad, while the Ramagundam Corporation area covers important industrial and urban areas of the region.
According to party sources, the appointments are intended to provide fresh impetus to organisational activities and prepare the district units for future political programmes. The newly appointed presidents will be responsible for coordinating party activities, strengthening booth-level networks and expanding the Congress’ outreach in their respective areas.
The AICC has been announcing organisational appointments in various states as part of its broader restructuring exercise, with similar efforts being undertaken to strengthen the party organisation from the grassroots level.
The three newly appointed presidents are expected to assume charge immediately and begin work on strengthening their respective district units.
Further organisational appointments in Telangana and other states are expected in the coming days as the Congress continues its organisational consolidation.
