Mumbai, September 18, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

Actress Nupur Sanon gave fans a glimpse of a festive outing with her sister, actress Kriti Sanon, while sharing a playful fashion lesson on how to coordinate outfits without actually matching.

Sharing pictures with Kriti on social media, Nupur called the styling idea the “Sanon Sisters’ Hack 101” — a way to “twin without twinning.”

In the first picture, the sisters are seen posing together in traditional ensembles. Kriti opted for a vibrant purple-blue saree featuring intricate prints and golden detailing, which she paired with a matching choker, earrings and bangles.

Nupur complemented her sister in a green-and-gold saree with an embellished border and statement jewellery. The sisters posed closely with their arms around each other and pouted for the camera.

Nupur captioned the post, “Sanon Sisters’ Hack 101: How to twin without twinning. PS : Currently accepting festive mithai, pretty jhumkas and Desi fits.”

The sisters share a close bond, which was also evident during Nupur’s wedding to singer Stebin Ben in January 2026. The couple hosted a three-day wedding celebration in Udaipur, featuring both Christian and Hindu ceremonies, followed by a reception in Mumbai.

Kriti played an important role in the celebrations and was seen getting emotional as her younger sister began a new chapter in her life. She also shared an emotional note welcoming Stebin into the Sanon family, recalling how she had held Nupur in her arms when she was five and was now watching her sister become a bride.

Nupur and Kriti’s latest pictures come shortly after Kriti faced social-media criticism over a Raksha Bandhan jewellery advertisement. The campaign, which featured Kriti in an Indo-Western outfit while tying a rakhi to her onscreen brother and pet dog, drew criticism from a section of social-media users over its styling and portrayal of the festival.

The advertisement was subsequently withdrawn by the brand, which also issued an apology. Kriti later addressed the controversy in a social-media post, saying that the essence of festivals lies in the emotions and meaning attached to traditions rather than clothing.
