Tensions between Bigg Boss 20 contestants Mahhi Vij and Aamrapali Dubey escalated into a heated argument over cooking, with the confrontation taking a sharper turn after Mahhi made a remark referring to Aamrapali’s Bhojpuri background.
The latest disagreement unfolded in the Bigg Boss kitchen during a discussion over the preparation of chicken. Aamrapali, who was part of the cooking team, objected to Mahhi’s interference in the process. According to Aamrapali, the argument began after Mahhi questioned how the chicken was being prepared, including the addition of potatoes.
The disagreement soon became personal, with both contestants exchanging pointed remarks. Aamrapali also criticised Mahhi for interfering despite, according to her, not knowing how to cook.
Later, Mahhi was seen discussing the confrontation with other housemates while appearing emotional. Defending herself against the criticism of her cooking skills, she said that cooking was not something she handled at home because she had a cook.
“If I don’t know how to cook, then? I don’t know how to cook. I have a cook in my house. I have worked hard to get a cook,” Mahhi said.
She also lashed out at the women involved in the argument, saying, “They are disgusting women. My foot! I will finish them in two minutes.”
During the heated exchange, Mahhi made a remark referencing Aamrapali’s Bhojpuri identity: “Thookte honge Bhojpuri ke log is par,” which translates to “Bhojpuri people must be spitting on her.”
Aamrapali, meanwhile, told Mahhi to stay away from the kitchen while they were cooking. Mahhi responded, “You don’t exist to me.” Aamrapali then took a dig at Mahhi’s cooking, saying there was barely enough food for 16 people when Mahhi cooked.
The disagreement appeared to affect Aamrapali further after she learned that Qazi had allegedly told Mahhi not to give her “footage”, while describing Mahhi as a star. Aamrapali said, “It is very difficult for an artist to explain their work and their position to another artist.”
She also highlighted the influence of the Bhojpuri community, saying that Bhojpuri people have a significant presence in governance and are politically influential.
The confrontation has added another layer to the ongoing tensions between the two contestants inside the Bigg Boss 20 house.
