Punjab Police have arrested two alleged drug smugglers and recovered 5 kg of heroin in an operation conducted by the Counter Intelligence (CI) unit in Amritsar, Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said on Sunday.
The accused have been identified as Mahinder Singh and Kulwant Singh, both residents of Mustafabad in Amritsar.
