Actress Sharvari has described dancing alongside Madhuri Dixit as a “surreal” and special experience, expressing her excitement at sharing the screen with the Bollywood star she considers her idol.
Sharvari took to Instagram to share a video featuring the two actresses dancing to the title track of Yeh Prem Mol Liya. The clip ends with them sharing a warm hug.
Calling Madhuri one of the original Rajshri heroines associated with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, Sharvari wrote that she was honoured to receive affection from the veteran actress.
“Getting to dance alongside my idol feels surreal and soooo special. Thank you ma’am, you are the best!” she wrote.
The post comes ahead of the theatrical release of Yeh Prem Mol Liya, scheduled for November 27, 2026. The film is directed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Kamal Kumar Barjatya, Ajit Kumar Barjatya and Mahaveer Jain under Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films.
Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari lead the cast, which also includes Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Seema Pahwa, Saumya Tandon, Shaad Randhawa and Swanand Kirkire.
Sharvari has previously spoken about the importance of music in Barjatya’s filmmaking, saying his songs are closely woven into the narrative rather than functioning as standalone dance sequences.
Recalling the filming of Jhumka Patola, she said Barjatya explained the significance of each musical moment for her character and shared stories from songs he had created over the years. She said she tried to bring that understanding into every step and expression.
Madhuri’s association with Rajshri Productions includes the 1994 musical romantic drama Hum Aapke Hain Koun, directed by Barjatya. The film remains one of her best-known collaborations with the filmmaker.
