Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has wished her close friend Malaika Arora on her birthday, sharing affectionate photographs on social media and celebrating their long-standing bond with a playful message.
Kareena posted a black-and-white picture of herself kissing Malaika on the cheek, accompanied by a warm birthday wish.
“Happy Birthday darling Malla stay sexy and fabulous… biggest hug @malaikaaroraofficial,” she wrote.
In another Instagram story, Kareena shared a monochrome, Polaroid-style photograph featuring Malaika and her sister Amrita Arora, captioning it “Malla Forever Fab”.
Kareena and Malaika have been close friends for years and are frequently seen together at social gatherings, celebrations and outings. Kareena’s sister, actress Karisma Kapoor, and Amrita are also part of their close-knit circle.
Amrita marked her elder sister’s birthday with an emotional and humorous tribute, recalling their childhood disagreements, shared tears and unwavering support for each other.
Sharing a photograph of Malaika dressed in a black outfit, Amrita described their relationship as a mix of arguments, drama and affection.
“Malla, my sister with dynamic flair, we fought over what to wear ..argued for hours with no resolve, but had each others back through it all!!” she wrote, before playfully calling her sister a “GREMLIN” despite her name meaning “ANGEL”.
Amrita ended the message by expressing her love for Malaika and celebrating their enduring sisterly bond.
Malaika began her career as a model and video jockey before establishing herself in Hindi entertainment. She rose to prominence with popular dance numbers such as “Chaiyya Chaiyya” from Dil Se.. and “Munni Badnaam Hui” from Dabangg. She has also appeared as a judge on several dance reality shows.
