The makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming romantic drama Love & War have unveiled the first look of Vicky Kaushal, showcasing the actor in a rugged and intense avatar.
The poster, shared on the film’s Instagram account, features Vicky lighting a cigarette while sporting a brooding expression and an intense gaze. The makers captioned the poster: “Nazre milengi, lekin hatengi nahin! Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War on 21st January 2027.”
The film, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, is scheduled for a worldwide release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on January 21, 2027. The project has moved into the post-production stage.
Love & War was initially announced for a Christmas 2025 release before its release date was pushed to March 20, 2026. The makers later confirmed January 21, 2027 as the new theatrical release date.
On September 24, the first poster featuring Ranbir Kapoor was unveiled. The actor appeared in a rugged look with a blood-stained sleeve and a bullet mark on his shirt.
The film marks Ranbir’s reunion with Bhansali after their collaboration on Saawariya, which marked Ranbir’s Bollywood debut in 2007. Alia previously worked with the filmmaker in Gangubai Kathiawadi, while Love & War marks Vicky’s first collaboration with Bhansali.
Vicky was last seen in Chhaava, the historical action film based on the life of Sambhaji, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film was adapted from Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel Chhava.
