Actor Josh Brolin marked 10 years of togetherness with wife Kathryn Boyd Brolin with a heartfelt social media post, describing her as his “romping partner” and reflecting on the life they have built together.
Josh shared a romantic monochrome photograph of himself and Kathryn kissing on Instagram to mark the milestone. In his note, he described their relationship as a journey filled with imagination, companionship and playful moments.
“In ten years I’ve never seen her without a costume, heard her without an accent, nor ever lived far outside the radius of her circus,” he wrote.
The actor added that he had always wanted a companion with whom he could share the experiences and imagination of life.
“Ten years and we’re still at it, like a couple of young, stupid puppies out on a beach walk chasing birds. My romping partner — till death do us part….#olé,” he wrote.
He ended the post with a playful invitation: “P.S. I’m watching La Strada if you want to join me?”
Josh and Kathryn began dating in 2013, when she was his former assistant and a model. They married in 2016 and announced in 2018 that they were expecting their first child. The couple have two daughters.
Before Kathryn, Josh was married to actress Alice Adair from 1988 to 1994. He was later engaged to actress Minnie Driver for six months before marrying actress Diane Lane in 2004. Josh and Lane divorced in 2013.
The son of acclaimed actor James Brolin, Josh gained recognition early in his career with The Goonies in 1985. He later returned to prominence with No Country for Old Men and went on to appear in films including W., True Grit, Men in Black 3, Everest, Hail, Caesar!, Sicario, Dune, Dune: Part Two, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Deadpool 2.
He is also widely known for portraying Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
