Hollywood actresses Anna Faris, Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher and Michelle Buteau are teaming up for the comedy film Spa Weekend, promising a mix of friendship, fun and chaotic misadventures.
The actresses recently shared a playful video on Instagram in which they are seen dancing together in bathing suits while promoting the film.
“Best friends, bathing suits & bad decisions!” read the caption accompanying their collaborative post, which also announced the film’s theatrical release on August 21.
Written and directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, Spa Weekend is a 2026 American comedy that follows three friends whose relaxing spa getaway takes an unexpected turn when their trouble-prone friend joins them.
Faris is best known for her comedic performances, particularly her role as Cindy Campbell in the Scary Movie franchise. Her filmography also includes May, The Hot Chick, Lost in Translation, Brokeback Mountain, Just Friends, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Smiley Face, The House Bunny, What’s Your Number?, The Dictator and Overboard. She has also lent her voice to the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Alvin and the Chipmunks franchises.
Mann has featured in films including The Cable Guy, She’s the One, George of the Jungle, Big Daddy, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Drillbit Taylor, I Love You Phillip Morris, 17 Again, Funny People, This Is 40, The Bling Ring, The Other Woman and Blockers.
Fisher’s credits include Wedding Crashers, Wedding Daze, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Bachelorette, The Great Gatsby, Now You See Me and Nocturnal Animals. She has also appeared in I Heart Huckabees, Definitely, Maybe, Keeping Up with the Joneses, Tag and The Beach Bum.
Buteau is a stand-up comedian, actress, television host, writer, director, producer and podcast host.
With the four performers at the centre of the film, Spa Weekend brings together an ensemble known for comedy and follows their characters as an intended weekend of relaxation spirals into a series of increasingly chaotic situations.
