Stand-up comedian and actor Vir Das is set to take his international tour I Say We Run to New York’s iconic Radio City Music Hall on January 30, 2027, marking another significant milestone in his global comedy journey.
Das said performing at renowned venues around the world has given him an opportunity to represent India and take Indian comedy to international audiences.
“I have had the honour of performing at some of the most iconic venues around the world, and it’s been wonderful to represent India and take Indian comedy to these spaces,” Das said.
Reflecting on the upcoming performance, he described Radio City Music Hall as a venue associated with some of the biggest names in entertainment.
“Radio City Music Hall is where all legends have performed and to take my new stand-up there truly is an honour,” he said.
Das said performing at such venues creates career-defining memories for artists, adding that the atmosphere and energy of these spaces leave a lasting impact.
“There are standout moments that you will remember in your career and performing at such iconic venues is one such moment for me. The energy of these places is palpable, and as an artist you take back so much from such experiences,” he said.
I Say We Run began its journey at London’s Royal Albert Hall and is continuing its international run. The tour is also scheduled to travel to Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena next month before reaching New York in January 2027.
Meanwhile, Das has recently wrapped up shooting for his horror directorial Baara Number. The film is being presented as a found-footage horror narrative that seeks to move beyond conventional genre tropes through psychological depth and atmospheric storytelling.
