Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai has shared an emotional family moment after watching his daughter Muskaan Ghai deliver her first speech before around 150 senior colleagues at Mukta Arts during the company’s 48th anniversary celebrations.
In an Instagram post, the filmmaker expressed pride at seeing Muskaan take the stage and address the gathering for the first time. He compared the experience to watching a daughter reach an important milestone and said he felt the emotions of a proud father.
Ghai said Muskaan used the occasion to thank her colleagues for guiding and teaching her as she begins her journey with the family’s film and entertainment business.
He also revealed that she has graduated from the University of the Arts London, where she studied Film and Screen Studies. Describing her as a newcomer eager to learn, he said she had joined Mukta Arts with passion and enthusiasm.
“How does a father feel watching his younger daughter on stage giving a speech for the first time to all her 150 seniors at Mukta Arts Ltd, celebrating 48 years of excellence yesterday? Yes, I felt the same way for my young daughter Muskaan Ghai,” he wrote.
He added that she had thanked everyone for teaching her as she took her first steps towards contributing to the company’s growth. Ghai concluded his message by wishing her well, saying, “Stay blessed always, Muskaan.”
The filmmaker also posted a photograph of Muskaan addressing the gathering from the stage.
Subhash Ghai is married to Mukta Ghai, and the couple have two daughters, Meghna and Muskaan. Their elder daughter, Meghna, heads Whistling Woods International as its president and is married to Rahul Puri. Muskaan has also been associated with the family’s film banner and has worked as an assistant director.
