Expressing protest against Member of Parliament Bhai Amritpal Singh being kept in Dibrugarh Jail despite the removal of the NSA, Akali Dal “Waris Punjab De” has announced a massive motorcycle protest march on May 3 (Sunday). Hundreds of party workers and supporters are expected to participate in the rally.
Giving more details about the protest march, senior party leaders Malkit Singh Ball Hambran and Rajiv Kumar Lovely said that public anger continues to grow over Bhai Amritpal Singh being kept in Dibrugarh Jail even after the NSA was revoked.
In response, a large motorcycle protest march will begin at 9:00 AM from Ladowal Bridge and proceed to Mullapur village, passing through various villages on the way. During the march, they will also demand that Bhai Amritpal Singh be brought back to Punjab.
They said that a large number of people, especially youth, are joining Akali Dal “Waris Punjab De.” They added that people want to see Bhai Amritpal Singh as the future Chief Minister of Punjab.
