Actress Genelia Deshmukh took a nostalgic trip down memory lane on Thursday as she enjoyed a jetty ride in Mumbai, soaking in the sea breeze and familiar cityscape.
Genelia shared a picture from the jetty on her Instagram Stories, where she was seen smiling against the Mumbai skyline. Reflecting on the experience, she wrote, “The jetty rides, the sea breeze, the familiar Mumbai skyline…little things bring back memories.”
The actress, known for films such as Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na and Masti, frequently gives fans glimpses into her everyday life through social media.
Recently, Genelia shared moments from her Raksha Bandhan celebrations with her brother Nigel D’Souza, whom she affectionately calls “Nigu Pigu”.
In the pictures and videos, she was seen tying a Rakhi to Nigel before the siblings jokingly fought over an envelope. Calling it their “annual fight”, Genelia wrote that the elder sister is traditionally expected to be the one “gifting and pampering”, but this time her brother had the support of the “chota gang” and won.
Wishing him on Raksha Bandhan, she added that she would “always always have your back.”
On the professional front, Genelia is set to star in Ram Gopal Varma’s Police Station Mein Bhoot, which features Manoj Bajpayee in the lead. The film will mark the first time Genelia and Bajpayee share screen space.
She has also been roped in for a crucial role in Emraan Hashmi-starrer Gunmaaster G9.
