Dwayne Johnson calls 777-horsepower pickup truck a ‘helluva ride’

Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson has shared a glimpse of his experience driving a high-performance off-road pickup truck, describing it as a “helluva ride” after using the vehicle for several months while filming his latest production.

The actor took to Instagram to share a video of the truck and revealed that he had driven more than 500 miles during a recent trip. He praised its speed, comfort and performance while giving his followers a look at its exterior and interior.

“This one is for my fellow wild and crazy pickup truck lovers like myself. I know you’ll appreciate this one,” Johnson said in the video.

He revealed that it was his first time driving a Ram pickup after friends encouraged him to try one. The vehicle was provided to him while he was working on the production.

“I’ve been driving this for the past couple of months and it’s a hell of a ride,” he said, while highlighting its horsepower and acceleration. Johnson mentioned figures of 777 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of around 3.5 seconds, adding that he had unofficially experienced an even quicker time.

The actor also said he had taken the truck through muddy terrain and driven more than 500 miles on his recent journey.

Describing the truck, Johnson praised its interior, aggressive hood design, red detailing and comfort for long drives.

In his Instagram caption, he wrote that he had been driving the truck for months and described it as “smooth and very fast”, while thanking the manufacturer for lending it to him during filming.

Johnson also hinted that he was considering another vehicle, writing that he had been doing his research and needed his followers’ help before declaring, “I think it’s Tungsten time for the Rock.”
