Blackpink member and Thai singer Lisa is celebrating the release of her latest track, SaWaDiKa, thanking the many people across three countries who helped bring the song to life.
Lisa shared a heartfelt note on Instagram, expressing gratitude to her teams in Thailand, South Korea and Los Angeles. She also thanked her fans, whom she affectionately calls “Lilies”, for their continued love and support.
Marking the song’s first day of release, Lisa said it took a “whole village” to create the track and expressed appreciation to everyone involved in the project. She added that she was excited to share more of her upcoming work with fans.
SaWaDiKa was released on September 4 as a pre-release single from Lisa’s upcoming EP Press Play.
Lisa rose to global prominence as a member of Blackpink, which debuted in August 2016 and went on to become one of the world’s best-selling girl groups.
She launched her solo career with the single album Lalisa in September 2021. The release produced the Billboard Global 200 top-10 tracks “Lalisa” and “Money” and set sales records in South Korea.
Her solo career continued with Rockstar, the lead single from her debut studio album Alter Ego. The album, released in 2025, debuted in the top 10 of the US Billboard 200 and included the Official Thailand Chart-toppers “Born Again” and “Dream”.
Lisa also expanded into acting in 2025 with her debut in the television series The White Lotus. She has additionally been recognised in Thailand for helping promote the country’s culture internationally.
