Mumbai, November 3, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

A special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court on Tuesday remanded Suneha Pandit, the 13th accused arrested in connection with the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, to Mumbai Crime Branch custody till November 16.

Suneha, the sister-in-law of gangster Anil Pandit, was arrested from Haryana’s Karnal district. Anil had claimed responsibility for the October 18 firing incident.

Investigators told the court that Suneha is the wife of Abhishek Pandit, who allegedly operates a cryptocurrency account that received funds from abroad. Police suspect the money could be proceeds of extortion. Abhishek, Anil’s brother, is also accused of operating two other groups and handling payments for their activities.

According to police, the accused were assigned special codes through which Abhishek allegedly transferred money to them. The Crime Branch told the court that funds allegedly used in the firing case originated from foreign sources.

The police had sought 15 days of custody, while Suneha’s lawyer opposed the request, arguing that investigators had already obtained the required information. The court ultimately remanded her to police custody till November 16.

Last week, the court remanded Amar, the 12th accused arrested from Haryana’s Sonipat, to police custody till November 6. He is accused of transferring money allegedly used in the crime, including for purchasing a motorcycle and booking hotel rooms linked to the case.
