Actress Lindsay Lohan recently found herself dealing with an unusual beauty mishap after a section of her hair turned pink while she was swimming in the sea.
Lohan shared a video on Instagram showing herself at a salon while getting her hair treated. The actress said she was unsure what had caused the unexpected colour change but suspected that sunblock may have played a role.
“So, I’m in the salon because my hair, part of it, turned pink when I was swimming in the sea. So, I need to fix it because it’s like pink. I don’t know how that happened,” she said in the video.
Lohan added that she had been told sunblock might have contributed to the discolouration. She then checked with her hairstylist as the treatment continued to ensure the pink tint had disappeared.
Once the treatment was complete, Lohan celebrated the result, thanking Sebastian for fixing the issue. “Okay, it’s out. No more pink. Yay, Sebastian, you did it. Ah, what a relief,” she said.
Sharing the moment with her followers, Lohan captioned the post: “Ocean decided on a pink moment.”
Lohan rose to prominence as a child actress with appearances in television soaps including Guiding Light and Another World. She gained wider recognition after playing reunited identical twins in the 1998 comedy The Parent Trap. She later appeared in films including Get a Clue and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
In 2021, Lohan announced her engagement to financier Bader Shammas. The couple married the following year, and in 2023 they welcomed their son, Luai. Lohan has been based in Dubai for several years.
