Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema on Tuesday met representatives of six employee unions as Chairman of the Cabinet Sub-Committee constituted to address employees’ issues and grievances.
During the meetings, Cheema directed the concerned administrative departments to examine all legitimate demands thoroughly and take steps to resolve them at the earliest.
Reaffirming the Bhagwant Mann government’s commitment to employee welfare, he assured the representatives, “The state government is already working diligently and sympathetically towards resolving your issues.”
The Finance Minister received memorandums and heard delegations from the Associate Pre-Primary Adhyapak Union Punjab, Special Cadre Adhyapak Front Punjab, Janglat Workers Union Punjab, Aam Aadmi Clinic Sanjha Front Punjab, Outsource Sehat Vibhag Mulazam Union Punjab and Punjab Police Corona Warriors.
