Veteran actress and politician Hema Malini shared an emotional birthday message for her daughter Esha Deol, calling her a “complete support system” and describing Esha and her younger daughter Ahana as her “pillars of strength”.
Taking to social media on Monday, Hema wrote, “Today is my dearest Esha’s birthday. ❤️ She is my complete support system and she and Ahana are my pillars of strength. I pray for her long and healthy life and success in whatever she undertakes to do (sic).”
The ‘Dream Girl’ actress said she was proud of the person Esha had become and admired the way she had managed her life and children with grace and independence.
“From the lovely baby I held in my arms to the graceful young lady she has evolved into, she has managed her life and her kids beautifully with a will and mind of her own. I truly admire the way she has grown and blossomed and will always support and be there for her. God bless my darling Esha and give her the courage and strength to achieve all her dreams and ambitions,” she added.
Hema also shared photographs with Esha, captioning them, “Me and my darling Esha (sic).”
Hema married actor Dharmendra in 1980 after working with him in several films. Dharmendra was already married to Prakash Kaur and had four children with her.
The actress frequently expresses her affection for her daughters on social media. On Daughter’s Day this year, she described Esha and Ahana as her “precious treasures” and thanked them for bringing happiness into her life.
