Actress Parineeti Chopra has opened up about the sweet social media gesture by her husband, politician Raghav Chadha, who extended his support to her ahead of the release of her upcoming streaming series Shaque: Trust No One.
Speaking during the promotions of the series in Mumbai’s BKC area, Parineeti described Chadha’s post as an unexpected and thoughtful surprise, noting that his social media feed is usually dominated by political and governance-related content.
“It was a very sweet surprise because his entire social media feed is filled with political content, governance,” Parineeti said.
Calling the gesture “very filmy, almost romantic”, she added that such small acts of affection from her husband lift her mood and remind her that he is standing behind her.
“He is just all hearts. These are the sweet little things that he does that really take away my heart. It can put you in a great mood and can remind you of your partner and them standing behind you. All these things can really encourage a woman just to smile,” she said.
Earlier, Chadha shared the trailer of Shaque on Instagram and recalled visiting the series’ shoot in Shimla, where he met the team. He praised the warmth and talent of the people involved and said he could see that Parineeti had enjoyed working on the project.
In his post, Chadha wrote that he was proud of Parineeti and acknowledged how much she had invested in Shaque, particularly during a significant period in their lives. He wished the entire team well and said he expected the series to keep audiences guessing.
Parineeti responded by thanking her “protective husband” for his support, writing, “This is the sweetest! Thankss Ragaii. People need to know what a big support and protective husband you were during this time.”
Shaque: Trust No One, also starring Tahir Raj Bhasin and Soni Razdan, is scheduled to premiere on September 24.
