Veteran actor Kabir Bedi celebrated his younger sister Gulhima Bedi’s birthday by sharing a cherished childhood photograph and reflecting on the special bond they have shared since their earliest years.
Taking to social media, the Khoon Bhari Maang actor posted a black-and-white photograph featuring himself standing beside his mother, who is seen holding a young Gulhima in her arms.
Recalling their childhood bond, Kabir wrote that some relationships begin long before people have the words to describe them. He said he was already “completely enchanted” by his younger sister in the photograph.
The actor reflected on how their relationship has remained strong despite the changes brought by time and life.
“Through all the years and all the changes life has brought, she remains woven into my earliest and most precious memories,” Kabir wrote, adding that he adored her then and continues to adore her. He also wished her “the best sister ever” on her birthday.
The vintage monochrome photograph offered Kabir’s followers a glimpse into the siblings’ early years and the family memories they continue to cherish.
Gulhima Bedi, also known as Guli Bedi Scales, was born in Kashmir and spent several decades working as a teacher in the United States. She specialised in educating children with learning disabilities.
Kabir Bedi remains active on Instagram, where he regularly shares personal memories, family photographs and throwbacks from his long film career, giving followers glimpses of his life on and off screen.
