Actress Karisma Kapoor nearly found herself spilling some gossip about Mira Rajput during a fun segment on Koffee With Karan, prompting host Karan Johar to intervene and stop the conversation.
The amusing moment unfolded during a celebrity-calling game in which guests had to get someone on the phone to say, “Hi Karan, it’s me,” to earn points. Kareena Kapoor Khan decided to call her sister Karisma, apparently without telling her that the conversation would be played over the studio speakers.
When Kareena asked what was happening, Karisma casually revealed that she was watching the latest episode of Kareena’s talk show What Women Want, featuring Mira Rajput.
“I am just watching you and Mira. Everyone’s like, what’s going on?” Karisma said, seemingly preparing to discuss the episode.
Kareena quickly tried to steer the conversation away, explaining that Mira had appeared on her show. Sensing that more might be said, Karan interrupted with a warning: “No, no, you are Koffee with Karan, don’t say any more.”
Caught off guard, Karisma responded, “Oh no, how can you do this to me?”
Her teasing emphasis on Mira’s name added to the humour of the exchange, leaving the studio with the impression that she had more to say before Karan stepped in.
Mira, who is married to actor Shahid Kapoor, recently appeared on Kareena’s What Women Want. During the conversation, she spoke warmly about Shahid, describing him as a supportive father to their children and a caring husband and partner.
The moment brought together Kareena’s family bond with Karisma and the show’s trademark mix of celebrity banter and candid conversations.
