Television actress Kamya Punjabi has criticised Bigg Boss 20 contestant Love Gill over her equation with fellow housemate ScoutOP, questioning her loyalty and calling for her to reassess her behaviour inside the reality show.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Kamya expressed her displeasure over what she perceived as a mismatch between Love’s public expressions of friendship and her reported discussions about distancing herself from others in the house.
“Love Gill needs a serious reality check and she needs it NOW,” Kamya wrote, accusing the contestant of talking about being a “best friend” and “Behen” in front of others while allegedly planning to create distance behind their backs.
“Yeh loyal banne ke chakkar mein she is literally looking like a fool on national TV. Wake up girl,” she added, using the hashtag #BiggBoss20.
Kamya also voiced support for fellow contestant Qazi Touqeer, praising what she described as the sincerity behind his emotions.
“Rone waale toh yahan bohot hain magar, Teri aankh ke harr ek aansu mein teri sacchai dikhti hai,” she wrote, suggesting that Qazi’s tears reflected his truthfulness.
In another post, the actress took aim at contestants she perceived as insecure about Qazi receiving attention. She argued that avoiding someone to prevent them from gaining popularity could prove counterproductive, adding that people outside the house were talking about him.
The controversy surrounding Love and ScoutOP has intensified after a clip showing physical closeness between the two circulated on social media. Their interactions have attracted attention because of their previously described brother-sister equation.
The discussion gained further momentum after ScoutOP reportedly told fellow contestant Yung DSA that he had developed feelings for Love and felt possessive when he saw her interacting with Gullu. Scout, however, has also described his feelings as sibling-like.
His real-life girlfriend, Kaashvi Hiranandani, addressed the speculation, saying she wanted him to succeed and that a few clips or the way situations appeared on screen would not change her feelings.
The issue also reportedly came up during the latest Weekend Ka Vaar, when host Salman Khan reprimanded ScoutOP and Yung DSA over their behaviour, including Scout’s body language around Love.
Kamya, who has remained vocal about developments in the Bigg Boss house, participated in the seventh season of the reality show in 2013. She competed alongside contestants including Gauahar Khan, Tanisha Mukerji, Kushal Tandon, VJ Andy, Armaan Kohli and Pratyusha Banerjee.
