Actress Aditi Rao Hydari is looking forward to celebrating Diwali with her husband, actor Siddharth, this year, saying she is particularly happy that he will be home for the festival after missing it together last year.
Aditi, who is currently promoting her upcoming family entertainer Parivarik ManuRanjan alongside Pankaj Tripathi, shared that Siddharth was shooting in the US during Diwali last year, but will be with her this time.
“Last year Siddharth America mein shoot kar rahe the Diwali ke time, but this year woh yahin hain. So I’m very happy! Hum saath rahenge aur hopefully ghar bhi jaa payenge, promotions ke baad,” she said.
The actress added that they hope to travel home together once their promotional commitments are over.
Aditi and Siddharth were also spotted together at a Diwali celebration in Mumbai earlier this week, where they posed for photographs.
The couple first met while working on the 2021 Telugu film Maha Samudram. Their relationship progressed over time, and they got engaged in March 2024. They married on September 16, 2024, in an intimate traditional ceremony at the Sri Ranganayakaswamy Temple in Wanaparthy, Telangana.
On the professional front, Aditi will share screen space with Pankaj Tripathi for the first time in Parivarik ManuRanjan. Directed by Varun V Sharma, the film is described as a family entertainer combining romance, humour and family drama. It is scheduled to premiere on November 13.
Speaking about working with Tripathi, Aditi praised his natural comic timing and said the experience had been a joy.
“Sharing the screen with Pankaj ji for the first time was truly a joy. His humour is so effortless, so natural, that it made every scene feel lighter and far more fun,” she said.
