Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was impressed by his daughter Suhana Khan’s ability to lip-sync to Ed Sheeran’s fast-paced vocals in a recent social media reel, admitting that he found the lyrics difficult to remember himself.
Suhana shared a transition video in which she moves from her makeup look to a glamorous final appearance for an event, while mimicking Ed Sheeran’s part in ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’, the latest song from Shah Rukh’s upcoming film ‘King’.
The reel caught the attention of several celebrities, including her father. Reacting to the post, Shah Rukh commented, “How do you remember the words!!! It was so difficult for me because Ed sings so fast!!!”
Suhana’s close friend and actress Ananya Panday also praised the video, writing, “Never seen a cuter thing in my life.” Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, added: “Finally!!! A REEL.”
The reel comes days after ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’ was released on November 2, coinciding with Shah Rukh’s 61st birthday. The track features Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone and brings together the voices of Arijit Singh, Ed Sheeran and Madhubanti Bagchi.
Composed by Sachin-Jigar, the song has lyrics by Kumaar, while Sheeran has written the English rap portion.
Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, ‘King’ also stars Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma, among others. The action thriller is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
