Hollywood action star Sylvester Stallone has expressed his love and gratitude for his wife Jennifer Flavin, sharing a heartfelt message about their relationship on social media.
The 79-year-old actor took to Instagram and posted a photograph with Jennifer, writing: “I’m so grateful to have Jennifer by my side everyday.”
Stallone married Flavin in May 1997. The couple have three daughters — Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet — and have been together for nearly three decades.
On the professional front, Stallone is associated with the upcoming project Frisco King, a spin-off connected to his popular crime drama series Tulsa King. The spin-off, starring Samuel L. Jackson, has been ordered alongside a fourth season of Tulsa King.
The series, which premiered in 2022, features Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York Mafia figure who is released from prison and sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he sets out to establish a criminal organisation. It marked Stallone’s first leading role in a scripted television series.
Stallone made his screen debut in 1970 with The Party at Kitty and Stud’s but achieved his breakthrough with The Lords of Flatbush in 1974. His career reached new heights with the 1976 film Rocky, which he wrote and starred in, earning him worldwide recognition.
He later became synonymous with action cinema through the Rambo franchise, playing former soldier John Rambo across five films. Other notable films in his career include Cobra, Tango & Cash, Cliffhanger, Demolition Man and The Expendables franchise.
He also returned to the Rocky universe with the 2015 film Creed, in which his iconic character mentors Adonis Creed, the son of his former rival Apollo Creed.
