Paris, November 5, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

A flight travelling from Dublin, Ireland, to Rome, Italy, was diverted to France on Thursday following a suspected bomb threat, French authorities said.

The aircraft landed safely at Evreux, and all 151 passengers and six crew members were brought to safety. Bomb disposal teams were deployed at the site, French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu said. His office said the situation was being monitored, Euro News reported.

The French Air Force said it had dispatched aircraft “as soon as the threat was reported”. Flight-tracking websites indicated that the Dublin-Rome service was operated by Aer Lingus, Ireland’s flag carrier.

Italian media reports said bomb alerts had also been reported on two flights to Rome and from Milan. A flight travelling from Helsinki to Rome landed safely under the escort of Italian fighter jets.

A spokesperson for Finland’s flag carrier Finnair said a bomb threat had been made against a Jettime flight from Helsinki to Vienna. The aircraft landed safely without incident.

Meanwhile, Czech police reported bomb threats targeting four aircraft bound for Prague. Authorities said they were preparing for the planes’ arrival in coordination with Prague Airport and assessed the threats as low risk.

“Upon receiving a threat regarding the placement of an improvised explosive device on board 4 aircraft heading to Prague, we are preparing with colleagues from Prague Airport for their landing. We assess the relevance of the threats as low,” Czech police posted on X.

The police added that necessary security measures had been activated and pyrotechnic inspections would be conducted after the aircraft landed. They later said security measures at Prague Airport had ended and the inspections had yielded negative results.

The investigation was handed over to the National Centre against Terrorism, Extremism and Cybercrime (NCTEKK). Police said no further information could be provided at that stage.

Bulgarian authorities also reported bomb threats against three Ryanair flights bound for Sofia, Euro News reported. The transport ministry said two aircraft from Copenhagen and Madrid landed in Sofia, while a third flight from London was diverted to Plovdiv.

Around 10 European flights had faced bomb threats on Tuesday, prompting the temporary closure of Warsaw airport and the scrambling of an Italian Air Force aircraft, according to authorities.
