Politician Tej Pratap Yadav has emerged as the first Ultimate Ruler of Rise & Fall Season 2 after securing victory in the show’s petrol challenge, combining strategic decisions, shifting alliances and competitive performances to establish his position in the reality show.
Yadav, who has been making his presence felt in the Rise & Fall Tower, has also been seen playing the flute, dancing in the red room and carefully navigating relationships with fellow contestants.
During the competition, Yadav extended his support to co-contestants Manish Kashyap and Kajal Raghwani. However, his decision to back Manish came under scrutiny from Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who questioned his choice and prompted him to reconsider his position.
Reflecting on Manish’s earlier remarks, Yadav said, “Khilaf bolta hai Bihar mein….mera matlab mere bhai ke khilaf bolta hai” (Speaks against us in Bihar… I mean, speaks against my brother).
Despite the disagreement, Yadav has continued to keep his options open, leaving his fellow contestants uncertain about his loyalties and future alliances.
His strategic approach was evident during the Asli Ya Nakli challenge, in which he chose to eliminate Priyanka from the competition. Following her exit, Yadav faced Irina Rudakova in the final round.
He subsequently secured six litres of real petrol during the petrol challenge, defeating Irina and becoming the first Ultimate Ruler of the second season.
Reflecting on his position in the show, Yadav made a confident declaration about his authority in the penthouse.
“Iss penthouse ke pradhanmantri ke roop mein ban gaya hu, kewal penthouse mein bahar nahi – penthouse ka” (I have become the prime minister of this penthouse, not just outside in the penthouse, but of the penthouse), he said.
Yadav’s victory marks a significant development in his journey on the reality show, although his future strategy, alliances and approach to the competition remain to be seen.
Backed by Banijay Asia, Rise & Fall Season 2 is hosted by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag. The show streams exclusively on Prime Video, with new episodes released daily at 12 noon.
