Actor Gautam Gulati has made his strained equation with fellow contestant Priyanka Chahar Choudhary clear on reality show Rise and Fall Season 2, saying he does not want to see her again, either during the show or after it ends.
The remark came during the latest episode, as contestants gathered for a celebration following the completion of the Top 6 selection. Gautam chose to sit separately from Priyanka and Niharika Tiwari, making it clear that he did not wish to share space with them.
Speaking to Swara Bhasker, Gautam said, “I can’t sit with people who have given me trauma… mere ko inki na shakal jeevan mein dekhni hai na iss show ke baad dekhni hai.”
The confrontation followed another heated exchange between Gautam and Niharika during the show’s final Rise challenge.
The task saw Niharika, Priyanka and Sonam Malik competing for the two remaining places in the Top 6, with Karan Patel serving as the scorekeeper.
During the challenge, Niharika said they would not resort to cheating to secure a place in the competition. Gautam questioned her statement, prompting her to hit back, “Tum toh bolo hi mat, tum sabse bade cheater ho yahan pe.” Gautam dismissed the exchange as “fake content”.
The challenge ended with Niharika and Priyanka securing the final two spots in the Top 6, while Sonam Malik’s journey on the show came to an end.
With the selection complete, Swara Bhasker, Gautam Gulati and Karan Patel have secured places in the finale as Rulers. Shehzad Poonawalla had already earned a finale spot, while Niharika and Priyanka joined the contestants in the Penthouse.
The second season of Rise and Fall is hosted by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag.
