Actress Kritika Kamra recently made her maiden visit to New Zealand, accompanying her husband, Gaurav Kapur, who was there for his professional cricket commitments. The trip also gave the couple an opportunity to spend time together, with Kritika celebrating her birthday in Christchurch.
Sharing her experience, Kritika said she enjoyed the country’s pleasant weather and the opportunity to explore a new destination.
“It was my first time in New Zealand, and I really enjoyed the experience. The weather was lovely, and I loved getting to see the country,” she said.
“Since Gaurav was here for work, it was also nice to spend some quality time together. Celebrating my birthday in Christchurch and experiencing the cricket atmosphere made the trip even more special,” the actress added.
Kritika began her television career with Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar in 2007 and gained recognition for playing Arohi in the 2009 show Kitani Mohabbat Hai, opposite Karan Kundrra. She subsequently appeared in shows including Pyaar Ka Bandhan, Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2 and Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.
She later played journalist Ananya Kashyap in Reporters and Princess Chandrakanta in Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta. Her film debut came with Mitron in 2018. Her other projects include Tandav, Kaun Banegi Shikharwati, Hush Hush, Bheed, Bambai Meri Jaan and Gyaarah Gyaarah.
Kritika and Gaurav married in March this year in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai home, attended by family members and close friends. The couple opted for a registrar wedding instead of a large traditional celebration, with the arrangements featuring sunset-inspired colours and golden-hour hues.
In a joint statement at the time, they said they wanted to celebrate the beginning of their new chapter surrounded by the people closest to them.
