Global icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a striking appearance at Paris Fashion Week, joining international entertainment and fashion personalities including Celine Dion, Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Simone Ashley and Viola Davis at a show held against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower.
The actress attended the September 28 event at Place Joffre, where the gathering brought together several global ambassadors and prominent personalities, including Jane Fonda, Cara Delevingne and Andie MacDowell.
Aishwarya was seen sharing the stage with the other global icons and wearing a crown as she walked the ramp, drawing attention from fashion enthusiasts online.
For the occasion, she wore a deep velvet ensemble featuring elaborate detailing and a crystal-embellished cape. Her newly showcased burgundy-red hair added a contemporary touch to the look.
Several social media users reacted to her appearance, with many referring to Aishwarya as “royalty” while praising her presence at the Paris event.
A separate video from the event also showed Aishwarya sharing a warm moment backstage with Eva Longoria.
The actress was recently spotted at Mumbai International Airport as she departed for Paris to attend the fashion event.
Aishwarya’s association with international fashion and cinema events dates back to her Cannes debut in 2002. She attended the festival for the premiere of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas, which was screened at the prestigious event.
Accompanied by Bhansali and co-star Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya made a memorable entrance in a traditional yellow saree, with the trio arriving in a horse-drawn carriage.
The following year, she returned to Cannes as a member of the feature-film jury, becoming the first Indian actress to serve in that capacity.
