Veteran actress Soni Razdan has looked back fondly on her experience of shooting for the series Shaque, describing it as an “absolutely wonderful experience” and praising her co-stars, director Rensil D’Silva and the production team for making the journey memorable.
Soni shared a series of pictures and a video from the project, offering glimpses of moments with her co-star Parineeti Chopra. Reflecting on the experience, the Raazi actress said it had been special from the first script reading to the final day of shooting.
She praised director Rensil D’Silva and producers Sapna and Siddharth for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere on the sets. Soni also highlighted the experience of filming in Chail Valley and Shimla, saying the crisp, chilly weather and the locations added to the overall charm of the shoot.
In her social media post, Soni wrote, “Shooting for Shaque was without a doubt, pun intended, was an absolutely wonderful experience. Right from the first reading of the script, to the final shoot, to the brilliant cast that I worked with, to the talented director, Rensil d’Silva, and the producers who made us feel we were literally at home Sapna and Siddharth, from the location as you can see, and just from the whole vibe, the crisp chilli air of CHAIL Valley and Shimla – we could not have asked for more.”
The actress also expressed gratitude to her co-stars, the technical crew and Netflix for their contribution to the show. She appreciated the cast for being enjoyable to work with and acknowledged the technical team’s efforts throughout the production.
“I just want to thank everyone for giving me the best time in every which way. My wonderful cast thanks for being such fun to work with …The fabulous technical team that worked tirelessly day and night ..And the super Netflix team for supporting this show – thank you,” she added.
Shaque: Trust No One marked Parineeti Chopra’s OTT debut. The crime thriller also features Jennifer Winget, Anup Soni, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Sumeet Vyas. The series premiered on Netflix on September 24.
