Television actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia recently celebrated her bond with her parents in a special way, getting them inked for the first time and sharing glimpses of the family moment on social media.
The ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ actress posted a series of pictures on Instagram featuring herself with her parents as they proudly showed off their matching tattoos.
Reflecting on her relationship with her parents, Nimrit said they continue to be a source of comfort and strength despite living in different countries, cities and time zones and managing their respective work schedules.
“Through different countries, time zones, cities, work schedules, individual lives, constant hustle; I know I miss being there as much as I would want to. And I am unable to show up like I wish to. But everyday, I think of you all without amiss. And then my nervous system feels safe,” she wrote.
The actress said that distance and busy lives had not affected the family’s support for one another.
“For I know wherever we might be; we are always backing each other and praying for each other. Perhaps love is not always flashy. Perhaps it’s about surviving the chaos and silences together,” Nimrit said.
Sharing a glimpse of her parents getting their first tattoos, she added a humorous note: “Mom & Dad’s first. Things you succumb to for your kids. That weird family on Pinterest? I think of you three every time I see it.”
The post highlighted the actress’s close relationship with her parents and the ways families can remain connected despite physical distance and demanding schedules.
On the professional front, Nimrit recently featured alongside actor Tiger Shroff in the music video ‘Bepanaah’.
Describing the collaboration as an inspiring experience, Nimrit said working with Tiger was “an absolute blast” and praised his passion and dedication. She also thanked choreographer Bosco for pushing her out of her comfort zone.
She said the song celebrates “style, rhythm, and chemistry” and expressed excitement about its release.
