Television actor Mohit Malik has opened up about how he and his wife, Aditi Malik, handle disagreements in their relationship, saying that honest conversations and a willingness to understand each other have helped them grow together over the years.
The Kulfi Kumar Bajewala actor took to Instagram to share a glimpse into their everyday life, revealing that the couple follows a nightly ritual of sitting together over a cup of chai and talking about different aspects of their lives.
“Every night, over a cup of chai, Aditi and I have a conversation. Sometimes about our day, sometimes about something that bothered us, sometimes about life, and sometimes about things we don’t even know how to articulate,” Mohit wrote.
He explained that these conversations often involve questioning each other’s views, disagreeing, listening and making an effort to understand different perspectives.
Reflecting on their years together, Mohit said that a strong relationship does not necessarily mean agreeing on everything, but creating an environment where both partners feel heard and can continue to grow as individuals.
“After all these years together, we’ve realized that growing together doesn’t mean always agreeing with each other. It means creating a space where both of us can be ourselves, be heard, and become better versions of who we are,” he shared.
The Doli Armaano Ki actor added that the simple ritual has been part of their lives for years. The couple now hopes to share some of these conversations with others, not because they have mastered the art of relationships, but because they are still learning together.
“This little ritual has been a part of our lives for years. And now, we want to share a piece of it with you. Not because we have figured out relationships, but because we’re still figuring them out together,” he wrote.
Mohit also introduced the phrase “Cheeni Kitni Chamach!” while inviting people to follow their upcoming initiative. He signed off with the message, “Baat karte rahein, saath badte rahein.”
On the professional front, Mohit Malik was most recently seen playing Birju in Mirzapur: The Movie.
