Addressing the media, Bhagwant Mann criticized the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) for initially withholding crucial CCTV footage of the Sri Harmandir Sahib complex, which delayed the investigation. He stated that now, with access to the footage, the inquiry will be expedited to ensure justice is served swiftly.

Chief Minister Mann stressed that Punjab’s social fabric is rooted in unity and resilience. He declared that while Punjab’s fertile soil can nurture growth of any kind, it will never allow seeds of hatred to germinate. This, he said, reflects the state’s commitment to peace, harmony, and shared progress.
