The Punjab Government has ordered the transfers and additional postings of three senior officers, including two IAS officers and one IFS officer, on administrative grounds with immediate effect.
The orders, issued by the Department of Personnel on October 30, 2026, have been approved by the Governor of Punjab.
According to the orders, Rajiv Pramod Shrivastava, IAS (1992), presently serving as Special Chief Secretary, Freedom Fighters, and additionally Special Chief Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, has been assigned the additional charge of Special Chief Secretary, Employment Generation, Training and Skill Development.
He will continue to hold his existing responsibilities.
Gurpreet Singh Khaira, IAS (2009), presently serving as Secretary, Justice, has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management.
Kalpana K, IFS (2014), presently serving as Additional Secretary, School Education, and additionally Project Director, World Bank Project, Department of School Education, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Punjab School Education Board, SAS Nagar.
She will hold the additional responsibility by relieving Shri Shrikatar Singh Bal, PCS, of the charge.
The orders have been issued under the signatures of Punjab Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha.
