The Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Government’s FastTrack Portal has granted 20,417 clearances since its launch on June 10, 2025, emerging as a key initiative to improve the ease of doing business and strengthen the state’s appeal as an investment destination.
The portal guarantees regulatory approvals within 45 days and provides for automatic deemed approval in case of delays, Punjab Industries and Commerce Minister Aman Arora said.
Describing the platform as a game-changer for Punjab’s industrial landscape, Arora said it serves as a single-window digital system through which businesses can access regulatory approvals and government services online.
Highlighting its operational features, the minister said the portal offers a simple two-step online registration process. After registration, investors can use a dedicated dashboard to apply for new investments, access services for existing projects, manage e-Wallet transactions and track their projects in real time.
For new investments, businesses are required to submit only a Single Common Application Form to apply for all necessary services, approvals and clearances. This eliminates the need to approach multiple departments separately.
The portal ensures time-bound delivery of approvals within a maximum of 45 days. Its automatic deemed approval provision in cases of departmental delays is intended to improve administrative efficiency, provide clarity on timelines and facilitate faster decision-making for investors.
Arora said the platform reflected the Mann government’s commitment to creating a transparent, efficient and investor-friendly business ecosystem by removing procedural bottlenecks and strengthening accountability in the approval process.

Arora said the FastTrack initiative was an important step in an increasingly competitive investment environment. By using technology to simplify the government-to-business interface, Punjab was enabling investors to focus on project implementation, employment generation and enterprise growth rather than navigating cumbersome procedures, he added.
The portal also strengthens the investment facilitation efforts of Invest Punjab. Through initiatives such as FastTrack, the state is building an institutional framework to attract fresh investments, support existing enterprises and promote sustainable industrial growth.
As Punjab pursues investments across sectors, the FastTrack Portal represents a governance reform aimed at making the regulatory approval process simpler, more predictable and efficient, Arora said.
