Samsung on Monday announced a 30-month no-cost EMI programme for its latest Galaxy foldable smartphones in India, allowing consumers to purchase premium devices with zero down payment.
The financing scheme covers the newly launched Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8. Samsung said the initiative aims to make its foldable smartphones more accessible by reducing the monthly ownership cost for customers.
The company said the latest Galaxy Z series features improvements in hinge technology, display engineering, durability and performance, along with Galaxy AI-powered capabilities. The devices are based on seven generations of foldable innovation and incorporate user feedback for a more refined experience.
Under the new EMI plan, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will be available at a monthly instalment starting from Rs 6,667, which Samsung said is around 9 per cent lower than the previous-generation Galaxy Z Fold7.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 can be purchased through EMIs starting at Rs 6,000 per month, while the Galaxy Z Flip8 will be available at monthly instalments starting from Rs 4,167.
The 30-month no-cost EMI facility is being offered through Samsung Finance+ in partnership with DMI Finance, TVS Credit, IDFC FIRST Bank and Poonawalla Fincorp.
Samsung said the extended repayment period will provide greater flexibility to consumers seeking access to premium foldable technology without a large upfront payment.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra starts at Rs 1,99,999 and is available in Violet Shadow, Graphite, Cream and Green Shadow, with Green Shadow offered as an online-exclusive colour.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 is priced from Rs 1,79,999 and comes in Lavender, Graphite, Cream and online-exclusive Pistachio colour options.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 starts at Rs 1,24,999 and is available in Pink, Graphite, Cream and Mint, with Mint being an online-exclusive variant.
